What’s in a name? Evidently, it’s a new name!
The CTFA officially changed its name to The Personal Care Product Council
last November. This change was made to a “new, broader and more
contemporary name…to reflects its increasingly diverse membership.” A
new website, www.cosmeticsinfo.org,
was launched at the same time. Check it out – it’s an in-depth on line
resource for consumers with info about ingredient safety and the
science behind many personal care products. The new site has info on
more than 1500 ingredients and links to other authoritative bodies.
Goldshmidt is Degussa is Evonik. The German industrial giant with
holdings in chemicals, energy and real estate is now operating under
the name “Evonik Industries.” This announcement, made in
September 2007, brings together these entities under a new brand name
as the company gets ready to enter the capital market in the first half
of 2008. Evonik is represented on the West Coast by Ross Organic Specialties, headquartered in Santa Fe Springs, CA. |

Cutting It Paper Thin
Are you receiving less paperwork and enjoying it more? That’s the plan
